Quizlet Live Lesson
(ISTE Standards 6&7)

Quizlet.com is a way to turn content into games. With Quizlet Live students work in teams to answer the content questions as quickly and accurately as possible. When the game is over the website generates a list of what questions students got incorrect most frequently. These questions are then discussed as a group. There is also a discussion as to what worked well for teams and what did not, so students have a chance to evaluate how they worked within a team.

Citing Sources Lesson

It is important for students to learn early, that when using pictures and information created by someone else that they should give that person some acknowledgment. Because these students are only in the fourth grade, I do not think that it is important that they formally cite their sources. But I do think that it is important that they understand that they cannot claim someone else’s work as their own.
